Your hard-working candidates standing for election to Cornwall Council in Truro and Falmouth
Lib Dems can always been relied on to be hard-working local campaigners
Cornwall is in danger of becoming a ‘Wild West’ of speculative development, which will leave young families and first time buyers locked out, Truro and Falmouth Lib Dems have warned.
The government has increased the target of new houses in Cornwall from 2,707 to 4,421 - every year.
Lib Dem campaigners have warned that this will lead to a ‘Developer’s Charter' that only benefits big housebuilding companies. Ruth Gripper, the Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesperson for Truro and Falmouth, is calling for the government to focus on providing affordable homes for local families.
