Lib Dem Campaigners demand new Women and Children's Hospital is built

Ruth Gripper and the Liberal Democrats are campaigning for the government to deliver a new Women and Children's Hospital at Treliske.

This was promised by the Conservative government - but not delivered.

Under Labour, the plans are now under threat, with the health minister saying the plans are "unfunded" and "undeliverable".

The Lib Dems are calling on the government to build this vital unit for women and children in Cornwall - which will free up capacity in the rest of the hospital.
