Our plan to end the A&E corridor crisis
30,000 people wait for over 12 hours in A&E departments every single week - it's a national scandal and we have a plan to stop it.
Truro and Falmouth Liberal Democrats are delighted to have increased the number of Cornwall Councillors and the party's vote share in the Cornwall Council election on 1 May 2025.
Here in Cornwall, the Lib Dems are pledging to:
Your hard-working councillors working for you in Truro and Falmouth
Lib Dems can always been relied on to be hard-working local campaigners
Falmouth Lib Dems campaign for direct bus to Treliske Hospital
Falmouth Lib Dems have launched a campaign for a direct bus route from the Town to Treliske hospital. Currently people have to change at Truro to get to their destination.
Local Lib Dem campaigner John Spargo said: “Not only does the Cornwall Day Rider fare cost £8 to get to Treliske, but people have to change in Truro.
"A lot of older or sick people really struggle to change buses. £8 is a lot of money, the least they can do is have the same bus all the way.”
