Welcome to the website for the Truro and Falmouth Liberal Democrats. Truro and Falmouth is a new constituency which has been created as a result of the boundary changes in Cornwall; it encompasses parts of the Truro and St Austell constituency (currently represented by Matthew Taylor MP) and the Falmouth and Camborne constituency (currently represented by Julia Goldsworthy MP).

Matthew Taylor MP has decided to stand down at the next election, well known local campaigner Terrye Teverson has been selected to contest the seat in his place. This website is designed to give you all of the information you need to contact the local party and your Liberal Democrat elected representitves, as well as enabling you to follow our work for you, all year round.

More than 3,000 pensioners in the Truro and Falmouth constituency will miss out on Cold Weather Payments despite recent freezing conditions, according to new figures released this week.

A community group in Falmouth campaigning to improve play provision in Kimberly Park Gardens are holding a public meeting this Saturday. Kimberly Park Community Group was set up last year on the back of Terrye Teverson's Playground Campaign which received an influx of complaints about the state of play equipment in Falmouth's main park. The group now has an initial proposal on how to develop the project from Groundwork South West.

13 JOBS TO GO IN SHOCK TRURO CLOSURE

Three full time and 10 part time workers are to lose their jobs in Truro next week, with the shock closure of the Co-Operative store in Uplands Crescent.
